Heng Li Ching (Leach) is an artist who specialises in pen and watercolour art. Her aesthetic influences derive from fairytales, classic picture books, nature and more recently, tutelage under Chinese Ink master Nai Swee Leng. She has participated in exhibitions in Singapore, Japan and Korea.
As a book illustrator, Li Ching was featured at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content in 2018 and 2019. Her first book, Jade’s Quest For Her Heritage was published in 2019 with endorsement from the National Heritage Board and the SG Bicentennial.
Li Ching is passionate about teaching and runs a popular Watercolour Workshop. Her clients include the National Gallery of Singapore, Six Senses Resorts, Overjoyed, Rolex, Hendricks Gin and Franck Muller. She is a brand demonstrator for German paint makers, Schmincke.
