Lee Geok Boi is an editorial consultant who is a trained librarian, and was Assistant to the Editor of The Straits Times besides being executive features writer and executive sub-editor. She was also adjunct lecturer in Temasek Polytechnic. She is the author of numerous books on a wide range of subjects, including cookery, history, social sciences and corporate histories.
