Michael Chiang is a media veteran with 40 years experience, specialising in creating, developing and overseeing new projects.
He started out as newspaper journalist (ST/SPH, 1980-1989), before making a mark as magazine publisher, creating new titles and helming operations as Publishing CEO (SBC/MediaCorp, 1990-2009).
Michael launched own consultancy, A Little Imagination Pte Ltd (2009-present), taking on media and creative projects for clients like MINDEF, NAC, NTU, WTA and Business Times. He was Co-Creative Director for The Bicentennial Experience (2019) at Fort Canning, a unique 'experiential history' multimedia show which ran for seven months and drew an unprecedented audience of 726,000.
Michael was also Scriptwriter for NDP (2010, 2014) and ASEAN Schools Games Opening Ceremony (2017), Creative Director for NYC Youth Awards (2017).

THEATRE: Singapore's most successful playwright, with regular restagings of popular works like Army Daze, Beauty World and Private Parts (1987 to present)
FILM: Screenwriter for Army Daze (1996) and Our Sister Mambo (2015)
TELEVISION: Adaptation of 1989 play Mixed Signals into 13-part TV series (2019)
